In Progress Alison Victoria and Oregon Coast 19.05.2009
Shot the opening of interior designer Alison Victoria’s collection launch last week. The event was held at A New Leaf, which is a really amazing florist/event space here in Chicago. I met Alison working the Brix event at Luminaire last month, along with painter Laura Cartwright, who’s work was also featured at the event.

The next day I caught a flight out to Portland Oregon to visit my friend Breesa for her 30th birthday and hang out on the Oregon coast. Breesa works for the Comunity Cycle Center in Portland, a really cool non-profit bike shop and cycleing advocacy orginization. Portland’s always been one of my favorite cities, and I really love the Oregon coast (it’s been a few years since I’ve been out there). So it was nice to get away and shoot some casual and candid stuff.

I also wrapped up some more work for Momentum Magazine, shooting the rickshaw drivers that work at Wrigley Field, inlcuding my good friend Andrew Nordike.
