Cox/Newberry Wedding 29.05.2009
This past weekend I shot the wedding of my good friends Ira Cox and Andrea Newberry. Typically I don’t shoot weddings, although I’ve done a handful, all for friends. It’s not that I have anything against shooting weddings per-say, and it’s not that I won’t shoot them in the future, it’s just that whenever I’m approached to do one I have to make sure to be very clear that I have a specific style and that the couple (and their families) are looking for that style. Documentary, photo-journalistic, candid.
Ira and Andrea actually approached me specifically for those reasons, and I was thrilled to be able to shoot it and am pretty pleased with the results – which range from candid’s, to family portraits to drunken revelry and dancing.
