Back in the Woods 29.04.2009
So after ten years or so of not shooting photos of paintball in the woods I rolled out to Corona California this weekend to shoot the inaugural event of Tom Cole’s Ultimate Woodsball Leauge – which is going back about as old school as you can. 10-Man paintball. In the woods. With Camo. And Auto-Cockers.
After flying into LA I rented a car and drove down to San Diego to crash at Matt Marshall’s house. Matty put together a team (San Diego Daggers) to play the event made of of current and past pro-paintball players (Todd, Martinez, Nicky Cuba, Justin Schwartz, Cedrick Rolloff, Roy Richards and Brandon Lambertson) and a bunch of old mechanical guns.
It was pretty rad. After working for years and years shooting pro-paintball on concept fields it was kind of cool to be back in the woods. Plus we were doing a little, you know, drinking.
