Just got word this morning that Pacific Paintball, which owns my longtime client the NPPL as well as PB2X Magazine (whom I’ve done work for on and off over the years) are filing bankruptcy and liquidating their assets. Not only does this put a bunch of people I know and like out of work (as well as changing my client dynamic for next year) but it’s a pretty monumental moment in the history of professional paintball, which I’ve spent the better part of a decade documenting.

This also comes on the heals of the news that a lot of my friends who worked at JT USA (one of the largest paintball companies) were laid off just before Thanksgiving and word is the company is being relocated to St Louis.
